Van Driver
Cheltenham
Due to an increase in workload, we are looking to recruit 2 additional Van Drivers to join the team at our site in Cheltenham. We are a leading laundry company providing professional linen and workwear rental to the hospitality (hotels, holiday parks and serviced apartments) and manufacturing industries throughout the UK.
Salary:
£12.45 per hour paid weekly and the opportunity to earn an extra performance related bonus of up to £2k per annum!!
Shift Pattern or Hours of Work:
The hours of work are Monday to Friday with the shift starting at 6.00 a.m.
Your new role:
As a Van Driver with us, you’ll be the welcoming face of our business – the helpful driver who delivers a unique blend of CLEAN Linen & Workwear quality with outstanding service right to our customers’ doors. You’ll get to drive one of our modern fleet of vehicles, moving clean and used workwear to and from our customers and our laundry, you’ll be an integral part of our industry leading team. Day-to-day the role involves:
- Delivering and collecting workwear laundry items from our customers within the geographical service area of the laundry
- Delivering workwear to designated delivery points at customer premises
- Helping our customers distribute the workwear by putting it away in employee lockers
- Lifting floor protection mats and laying new floor mats
- Providing outstanding customer satisfaction
- Being flexible with a positive can-do attitude and the desire to get the job right first-time
- Representing the CLEAN brand in a professional manner (you will be the face of the company)
What do I need to apply for the role?
Energy and friendliness are essential in this role and to always deliver the service with a smile. In addition to these personal qualities, we need you to have:
- Current and valid Category B Driving Licence
- Previous experience as a van driver - multi-drop
- A focus and passion for providing great Customer Service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A flexible approach to your work and a positive can-do attitude
