More than five million Britons took a staycation over the August bank holiday weekend this year. Here at CLEAN we provide a vital service supporting customers throughout the country. After all, without clean linen many of our customers wouldn’t be able to make up bedrooms for guests.
With so many people heading for a weekend of rest and relaxation, last week was one of the busiest weeks of the year for hoteliers and the hospitality industry as a whole. Therefore it comes as no surprise that the team at our laundry processing facility in Yeovil celebrated record breaking numbers. Last week they processed and delivered a record breaking 634,000 items to customers throughout the South and South West of England. Beating the previous record for the total number of items processed in a single week achieved during the summer of 2015 by 10,000. CLEAN would like to extend gratitude and appreciation to colleagues at our Yeovil laundry site for their ongoing dedication and commitment to provide an exceptional service to customers.
