The prestigious annual scheme, run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), recognised CLEAN as a business sustaining the highest standards in health and safety at the awards in Birmingham on Wednesday, 4 July.

CLEAN, whose mission is to provide a safe workplace, has now secured six consecutive RoSPA Health and Safety Gold Award wins.

When presented with the award during the ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel, CLEAN’s continued commitment to implementing a rigorous approach to occupational health, high levels of compliance with control measures and low rates of error, were highlighted as key factors in securing the esteemed title.

CLEAN's Chief Executive said: “We are delighted with the fantastic news that we’ve once again secured the Gold Medal award by RoSPA. CLEAN is committed to ensuring rigorous safety checks and effective procedures are implemented across all seven of our laundry sites, and the award is testament to this focus.”

He added: “Safety, combined with quality, service, cost and people, is an essential part of our business and an area we strive to excel in every day.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
