CLEAN has been named as a Gold Medal award winner at last night’s RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017.
The prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) recognised CLEAN as a business sustaining the very highest standards in health and safety after securing five consecutive Gold Award wins.
When presented with the award during the ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel, CLEAN’s continued commitment to implementing a rigorous approach to occupational health, high levels of compliance with control measures and low rates of error, was highlighted as key factors in securing the esteemed title. The latest title follows hot on the heels of our recent accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor.
Speaking of the achievement, CLEAN's Chief Executive said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded the Gold Medal award after achieving the Gold Award for five consecutive years. The award recognises our long-term commitments to ensuring rigorous safety checks and effective procedures are implemented across all seven of our operational laundry sites, of which safety - combined with quality, service, cost and people - is part of our everyday DNA as we strive for everyday excellence.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”
