CLEAN has made its laundry in Canterbury Road, Radford more efficient, following a £490k investment in new equipment.
The company, which specialises in supplying bed linen, towelling and table linen to customers in Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and beyond, has installed a new iron feeder, press and folder.
The new equipment will enable greater energy efficiency as well as delivering a better service to CLEAN Nottingham's clients, who include hotels and restaurants in the region.
A new iron feeder will improve energy efficiency by 8% while the new press is 10% more efficient. A new folder, due to be installed this week, is expected to lead to greater gains in energy efficiency.
CLEAN Nottingham Site Director Iain Corner said: "The investment in new equipment increases quality for our customers, increases the site's capacity and has positive benefits for staff who can see that the company is investing in them and their site."
CLEAN's CEO said: "We are pleased continue our investment strategy to improve service for our customers and enable staff to do their jobs more efficiently."
